What makes Cape Town so unique?
Millions of visitors (local and international visitors) fall in love with our iconic City for different reasons. With breathtaking mountains, fabulous beaches, lush greenery, exceptional wine farms, beautiful landscapes, picturesque gardens, amazing coffee shops, and up-market nightclubs and restaurants – what’s NOT to love?
That’s Cape Town focuses on showcasing the “other side” of the Mother City. We like to focus on what makes Cape Town our home, and what makes this city such a unique location.
For the love of the Mother City and everything in it, the Leisure Hotels and That’s Cape Town teams will traverse Cape Town capturing unique locations within our beautiful city.
We will explore and take photos Cape Town hot spots, sights, Cape Town culture and so much more. So what does this mean for YOU?
Introducing the THAT’s our Cape Town Photo Contest
They say a picture is worth a thousand words and the correct title to our picture is worth a great prize.
As mentioned above, the That’s Cape Town team, together with the Leisure Hotels team will explore the Mother City and take photographs of unique locations and will form the basis of the photo contest. The theme – Where’s THAT’s Cape Town today?
What you have to do…
- Once a week a photo of Cape Town will be uploaded on the That’s Cape Town blog and will be promoted on the Leisure Hotels Facebook Timeline, Twitter profile and Pinterest board.
- All you have to do is watch out for the photo that will be uploaded on the That’s Cape Town blog, look for the comment link beneath the photo, click on it and enter your answer in the comment box.
- The photo will be uploaded every Monday at any random time, so be alert. If you spend as much time on the Leisure Hotels social media profiles as we do then this should be a piece of cake.
- Winners will be selected at random and will be awarded with a wonderful prize courtesy of Leisure Hotels. Think luxury accommodation, great food and excellent service within an iconic city.
- The winner will be announced every Friday before 16h00
- The winner will be contacted via email
- Clues will be available on the Leisure Hotels Pinterest profile. Keep a look out for the That’s Cape Town Photo Contest board on Pinterest for clues.
- The THAT’s our Cape Town Photo contest will run over three months – June, July and August 2012
- One photo will be uploaded on the That’s Cape Town blog per week
- Twelve photos will be uploaded for the duration of the competition
- You may enter/comment as many times as you like, but you may only win once a month
Prizes
- Once a week one lucky person will win a full buffet breakfast for two at the Strand Tower Hotel. Drinks are not included.
- Once a month one lucky person will win a night for two at the Strand Tower Hotel, including breakfast.
